Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from www.snoofles.co.uk (’the Site’).


Personal information we collect:

How do we use your information?

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfil any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations).  Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

  3. When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

Sharing your personal information:

The data breach protection laws we have in place: 

We take great care to make sure the personal information you have provided us is secure and take measures against unauthorised or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage to your personal data. Such examples of data breaches include:

  1. Loss or theft of data or equipment on which data is stored (e.g. losing an unencrypted USB stick, losing an unencrypted mobile phone)

  2. Which staff member was involved in the breach?
  3. Who was the breach reported to?
  4. Date of the report
  5. Time of the report
  6. A description of the breach
  7. Initial containment activity
  8. What type of data is involved
  9. Were any protective measures in place to secure the data (e.g. encryption)
  10. What has happened to the data
  11. What could the data tell a third party about the individual
  12. Number of individuals affected by the breach
  13. Whose data has been breached
  14. What harm can come to those individuals
  15. Are there wider consequences to consider e.g. reputation loss
  16. Consider the likelihood and severity of any risk to people’s rights and freedoms, following the breach. If likely or severe, report to the Information Commissioner’s Office for independent review.
  17. Action to be taken to recover the data
  18. Notify relevant governors/trustees
  19. Notify any other relevant external agencies
  20. Internal procedures (e.g. disciplinary investigation) to be completed
  21. Steps needed to prevent re-occurrence of breach

Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfil contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above.  Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.


Data Retention: 

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.


Changes:

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the Site. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.
